ABS Help

Hey all,

So my ABS started kicking on for no reason a few weeks ago, and then the ABS lights would come on and I would have no ABS at all. At first I figured it was bad speed sensors, so I replaced those. The problem went away for a couple of days, but returned and was even worse. My ABS would go off almost anytime I hit the brakes when under 5mph, but never above 5mph. So scaned the codes again and it said speed sensor issues... So a mechanic friend of mine kinda poked around and said my hubs were shot. So we replaced both front hubs today (and they both came with new speed sensors) and WOW what a difference! My truck is soooo quiet inside when above 35mph now, it's amazing! Looking at the old hubs, the bearings were totally shot. It's amazing the difference in vehicle noise now... BUT guess what, my ABS light is still coming on, and the codes are still saying Speed Sensor issues... So, where should I look now? ECM?

Thanks

Try something cheap first, disconnect the battery for 20 mins or so, may reset it

is the speed sensor adjusted correctly?

@ richphotos, I didn't know there was a way to adjust them. They were already installed in the hub when we swapped the hubs yesterday, so I assumed everything was correct. What's the way to adjust them correctly?

I dont believe there`s an adjustment

Yeah, I didn't think there was either. I know there's a shim that goes in between the hub and the sensor, but other then that, I couldn't see how it could be adjusted.
