Abs issue

Got a 99 jimmy been having an issue with the abs engaging when coming to a stop and turning doesn't do it when im driving straight. So today i replaced the front passenger side bearing assembly cause the bearing was starting to hum figured the sensor was gone too took the truck for a drive abs still engaging once in a while but seems to only do it when turning left is it possible my drivers side abs sensor is also gone? Also after changing a wheel bearing/sensor are you suppose to unplug your battery and reset the computer?

If the ABS warning light is illuminated while driving, retrieve the DTC's and post them here. If the light is off, check this technical service bulletin, (it also applies to your 99 Jimmy): http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/GM...s_bulletin.pdf

Disconnecting the battery will not affect the ABS.
