Default ABS pump motor short/open

i threw an ABS code i think the code was ? C0267 ? but it was pump motor short/ open circuit. how could i go about testing the componet before i buy a new pump assembly. i think that the pump motor is bad but i t could possibly be the wiring so i just wanna make sure before i shoot parts at it. thanks!

Check this out:
C0267/C0268 - Pump Motor Circuit Open/Shorted

You may not need a new pump assembly. If you do find that the EBCM is at fault, there has been quite a few people that have sent their ECBM away and had it repaired. Search the forum. I do not recall the exact website that people used, but the feedback was encouraging.
