and another problem... this time i think the exhaust

Default and another problem... this time i think the exhaust

So im driving home tonight and i notice a little smoke coming out of my exhaust and the throttle at around 45-55mph felt different ..and i STILL continue to smell that burning metal sound that ive previously asked you guys if it is my brakes..so once i get home i check around the car and notice that my muffler/exhaust is much hotter than normal i even burnt my finger touching it ... so once i turn off the truck i put my nose to the exhaust pipe hole and start smelling it and notice that that burning steel smell has been my exhaust all along

All my brakes are normal heat after a night od driving but than the right rear wheel is very hot MUCHHH hotter than all the other brakes and i wonder if its because my exhaust is severely overheating and pumping out that burnt steel smell...

is it possible that i might need a new exhaust system?

Only thing that comes to mind that could cause the exhaust to be hotter than normal is fuel buring in the exhaust. Has your fuel mileage gone down? How old is the cat? How old are the O2 sensors? Just thinking out loud here.

do you have rear disc brakes? my jimmy was doing something like that turned out i needed to grease the slide pins. the pad wasnt releasing enough and was stinking up a storm lol. if the one wheel is hotter than the rest it must be something in that wheel. unless you have you exhaust dumping right at the wheel lol
