When I was changing the tires around on my blazer yesterday. About 15 minutes in to changing the tires(keys out off the ignition) it sounds like my fuel pump is running or something's running in my gas tank. So I take the filler cap off thinking maybe it's just built-up pressure. No pressure came out. I stuck my ear to the hole and I could hear something running in the tank.
It's done this weird stuff before. If I go straight from "off" to "crank" immediately the blazer usually starts right up within a second or two. But if I turn the key from "off" to "run"(until all the dash lights go off) and then "crank" it will crank for almost 60 seconds and start dragging my battery down (But it has always started). And of course I've never gotten a service engine light. (Which I would think I should, I took out the catalytic convertor and I have 2 oxygen sensors.) I'm really hoping it's not the fuel pump itself going bad.
