Automatic Climate Control making me want to Eat a Bullet
 

Hey guys first off let me start with the fact that I have searched tirlessly for a solution but have not found one. 2000 trailblazer 4x4 with automatic climate control and I am having the same issues as everyone else with the dang blend door. The only difference is that today I have gone through three yes THREE blend doors, put in another climate control panel (under the radio) AND a temp sensor (above the drivers head)!!! Still breaking gears in the blend door because it just wants to go to HEAT. :icon_errrr: I have pulled the RDO fuse and all the reset tricks and still NO fix:icon_wheel:!! So I guess the question is what are the possibilities that I keep getting bad parts?!? Or if I am missing something please let me know cause I am about to blow this freaking thing to hell and back!?!

OK so I have a update. For some wierd strange reason I go back out there and pull everything apart again but this time I put it back together with my original blind door actuator and blow out the new ambient temp sensor just in case it got debris in it from the headliner and POOF everything works like it is suppose too. :icon_shrug: So I guess we can close this thread. Thanks any ways guys.

I sure hope your issue is fixed. Repeatedly fixing the same thing drives me crazy. However, I hear it's the "charm" of our trucks so I accept it. :)
