automatic shift lever
just changed heater core on 97 blazer, with column shift automatic, had to drop the steering column. Now the indicator light that shows which gear your in doesn't light up. checked back of instrument panel an there is no light bulb for that indicator. Any ideas as how to get indicator to light up? Also I cannot get the key out of the ignition once I reinstalled the wheel. Doesn't feel like I am going into overdrive either what is the correct rpm at 60 mph? Also the transmission is really sluggish, have to put it in low 1 if I am at a stop on a hill to get going, Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

ncredible the amount of detail and work that goes into each little component we take for granted. Thanks for showing us!! Weird that north americans are so addicted to their automatic transmissions, big roads, long distances. It would make more sense here in Europe where the roads are so smalls and there's basically one big traffic jam, yet everyone drives a stick..
