blazer fuel issues

hi i have a 98 blazer with the 4.3l v6 yesterday i was on my way home and the truck just lost all power i would press the gas but nothing would happen the the truck just shut off and would not start. when i checked it out the fuel pump was running and i am getting fuel to the engine based of me pressing the valve on the fuel rail. then i noticed fuel leaking from the bottum of the upper intake manifold . my guess would be the spider injector went up but im not sure. thank you:icon_doh:

i forgot to say there is no check engine light on, there was never any kind of warning beside really crappy gas millage and a funny burning smell while it happened, also my fuel pump use to make a really high pitched whistle sound before this happened now it sounds differnt. but fuel is reaching the engine and fuel is leaking from upper intake manifold the more i turn the key on and off the more the fuel leaks out

id start diagnosing before guessing what the problem is a spider or fuel pump can be very expensive fixes

Id start by checking the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge

also if its the fuel pump or spider unit we suggest that delco or delphi should be used

aftermarkets wont last long from our experiences they last 3 to 8 months period
