Thanks for all of the info. Due to the holiday I probably won't be able to begin until this weekend. I'll check the mass air flow sensor while I'm checking the fuel pressure. I should have an update for you on Monday.

I couldn't rent a fp gauge at any parts store so I had to buy one. If it turns out not to be the fuel pump, i'd take a look at the coil next. I. WAs having somewhat similar problems with my '01 and that's what it was.

Well I checked the fuel pressure at it was 0. My blazer will not start at all now, so I'm guessing the pump finally crapped out. I'm working on it right now and should have it done in a few hours.

good luck buddy, 0 is a little low. Just make sure you check the relay. When mine went out, one of the wires were a little burnt toward the top of pump. Let us know your results

Well I've got everything all taken apart and ready for the new pump to go back in. However apparently the pump has a new updated wire harness with a different connection. So I tried to follow the old wire harness back so I can disconnect, but cannot find anything. Has anyone ran into this before?

You just cut off the old connector and splice in the new connector.

Oh ok, I wanted to check before I started cutting wires. Plus the pump I got was an airtech, so I was going to check on a delphi one today to see if it will plug right it.

So I went to the parts store that carries the Delphi unit and you do have to splice the new harness in, it was already stripped and ready to splice. The Airtex one I have already purchased had a large clip on the end which was the confusing part. So I just have to snip off the clip and splice it tonight. Should have it on the road later tonight, tomorrow at the latest!

my 90 is doing the same exact thing. i am going to check the fuel pressure first and then that mass air flow valve or the other way around, which ever is easier. let me know if you figure it out before me.

Ok so I've removed the old fuel lines that ran to the pump from under the truck. My new pump already has new fuel lines attached to it. However, the fuel line connectors under the truck are different than the ones on the new pump. Anybody have any advise?
