blazer wont start

Default blazer wont start

i have a 2001 chevy blazer (auto). it is not getting any power, the battery is still good, i checked it w/ my voltage meter. nothing will work, power locks ignition switch, headlights, lighter, stereo, nothing. anyone have any ideas or questions that would possibly help me out?

Just because your battery has 12 volts doesn't mean that its in good shape... have it load tested at your local auto parts store. Cut the insulation on the battery cables back about an inch and pry into the wire. Is it corroded or oxydized? If in doubt simply replace BOTH cables. Both batteries and cables are made so cheap in the last ten years that failure is pretty common.
