Book labor time for replacing fuel pump?

Every time I start thinking "I'm too old" or "I'm have too little time" to do my own repairs, all I have to do is look at the price for labor and the price of replacement vehicles and I'm cured. LOL

I did have a transmission shop rebuild my transmission for me though. That would have been outside my skills range. Otherwise, I try to do it all myself. Good thing I also still get satisfaction from doing my own repairs.

Stopped at store couple months ago on my way home....crank, no start...could hear the fuel pump eating itself....USAA covered the tow to the shop....When they dropped the tank, they broke something.....had to get used tank and new fuel pump...$1100 total bill....

would have tackled job myself but working 10hr days 6 days a week...little to no time...
