Brake Issues

I have '97 Blazer 4 dr. and whenever I turn sharply at slow speeds such as into a parking space the brake pedal will fall to the floor when it is depressed. It does not happen when applying the brakes while moving forward. I checked the lines when the wheels are turned and it does not appear to be pinched or restricted in any way. Any help on this would be appreciated!

RE: Brake Issues

If your brake pedal "falls to the floor" once in a while and is ok the rest of the time, that's a pretty good indication that the master cylinder is failing.

Found that mostly its the rubber o-rings that help hold that PLASTIC container to the top of the Master Cylender. Try checking that before you go replacing your Master Cylender. The Container just pops off with some pulling and prying.

If you dont feel confortable doing this then just make sure you get a Master Cylender w/ the container attached.
