By flexible, I'm hoping he means metal, don't use a rubber line! There IS one important thing you need to know about tackling the job yourself though, you'll need a scan tool that can bleed the ABS motor afterwards but before driving. There really isn't any manual way to bleed air out of the ABS unit except for: 1) Using a tool to tell the computer to bleed it and get the air bubbles out. or 2) Repeatedly locking up the brakes on a (preferably gravel) road while fighting the blazer to keep it out of the ditches and away from stationary objects while the 4 wheels lock and unlock at random... I don't personally recommend the second one. Either way, you'll still need to bleed the rest of the brake system afterwards and I'd rather have some confidence in my brakes before taking it out of park. Now would be the time to take a good hard look at ALL the brake lines though, hard line AND rubber and decide on what looks good and what looks bad and what looks questionable. Always remember that no matter what else you do to a vehicle, ANY vehicle, your brakes and tires are every bit as important as your steering rack, without them you can (at best) cause a lot of body damage and insurance claims, at worst you lose absolutely everything that no amount of money can replace. I might play things fast and loose on some things but never on brakes. This is something that you can 100% do yourself if you take the time to do it right but please don't take any shortcuts.
