Bug deflectors

I have an '03 Blazer with the window ventshades and I want a bug deflector to go with it. I've been talking to the parts store and looking in their catalogs, but sometimes it's hard to tell what something like that will look like on your truck. I want something low profile that wraps around the front corners of the truck. Their catalog has one that looks very close to what I want, but it's only listed on S-10 Blazers from 97-02 or something like that. They did have AVS (Auto Ventshade company) deflectors listed for the '03 models, but they seem like they're going to be higher than what I'd like. From what I understand, the Bugflector doesn't wrap around the front corners and the Bugflector II does. Does anyone have either of these on their truck and can post any pics or tell me what the difference is?

Thanks!

RE: Bug deflectors

IIRC, the '96+ (or was it '95) S-series vehicles (Blazer, S10, Sonoma, Jimmy, Bravada) all use the same hood. Your '03 should use the same thing as my Bravada, etc. I think they sold S-series Blazers into the '04 model year (sold in '03) before they dropped them. But the design of the body panels did not change since the redesign in '96 (or '95 can't remember).

I think it was '95... Oh well.

I remember I started a thread regarding that, and yeah I guess you're right. You're right, '95+ was the start of the new body style.

Can anyone post pics of their deflector and tell me what brand/model it is so I get an idea of what I will like?

I believe it is a bugdeflector II.
