Bulb placement

Hey guys, i did a conversion on my grill and changed the sealed beams to the composite. Now I'am at a bit of a loss on if the high beam bulbs go on top or bottom and like wise with the low beams in the composite headlights.:icon_sad: Any help would be great!

Any ideas at all would be nice. ty

I am curious as to what conversion you did? My '02 has the composite headlights high and the DRL's lower in the grill. I thought the headlight bulbs had two elements, one for high, one for low....but I admit that it has been several years since I have changed one of the bulbs.

However there is only two headlight assemblies, one on each side. Now there are the DRLs which are mounted lower in the grill....are you referring to these?

Thanks for responding, i did the dual headlight composite so there's two separate bulbs. Originally it had the sealed beams, and i didn't really care for they way they looked lol.

should be two completely different bulbs, a 9005 and a 9006, and they should only fit into the spot they're suppose to go in

And High beams go on the bottom I believe.

ok that's the way i currently have them. Yes I have the 9005 and a 9006. seemed like they would fit in either spot but didn't spend alot of time twisting them in and out of holes. Maybe they are good then, figured it was worth checking.
