A/C blows only hot but vent door moves
 

I have a 99 blazer and the a/c only blow out hot air. The compressor turns on and there is enough R134a in it. I read that it can be the temperature actuator but reafd that this controls the vent door. I took down the glove box and turned blazer on and moved a/c to cool and pushed a/c button on and the vent door opened. So does this mean that the temperature actuator works? Or does it do something else that i misread?

Anyone? It's getting hot. Even if I can just make the A/c Not blow out anything at all would be better.

I have the same problem. Got the tip that I have a vacuum leek "somewhere" and that the actuator doesn't need to be broken. Best of luck and respond with outcome.
