thank you. i was thinking the same thing.
a sticky relay could certainly cause that situation.
i was also thinking a frayed wire touching ground. if i remember correctly, the ground is switched on that system.

i swapped the relay with the horn relay and have run it like that for one week now. that one particular problem seems to have cleared up. i still have several other issues with the hvac system and will deal with them in time.

Swapping with the horn relay should have caused the horn to blow all the time. Maybe it was just stuck and removing it jarred it loose, time will tell. Thanks for posting back!
