I did a oil change last week and 3 times I have had a code for NEEDING a oil change. I have had the code cleared 3 times and today it is back again? This is on my 2003 Chevy blazer. Any Ideas????????? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

List them before You clear. And post.

Yeah, what is the code for needing an oil change?

strykerld 04-07-2019 01:16 PM

WOW just had the codes run again and the oil change is NOT on there. Also the light flashes when I drive but it does NOT flash when stopped. Also it says 4 codes now but they are 2 sets of the same code! 1)P0141 bank 1 sensor 2 02 Heater circuit for a predetermined period of time. 2) P0300 Random Misfire detected. Then it list those same 2 codes again! NONE of these were there the other day when the oil change info came up and the funny part is the blazer is running GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flashing check engine is a severe misfire. You don't have any driveablitly issues?

strykerld 04-07-2019 03:57 PM

No it runs better then it has in months!!!

Yes 3 times when they ran the codes it came up OIL CHANGE RECOMMENDED!!! And NOTHING ELSE, no code numbers at all!

So on your year blazer, when it's oil change time, it triggers the cel? Never heard of that before.
