Check engine light flashes at highway speeds. Have run out of ideas. Help please.

Have you tried running a different brand of fuel or jumping up to high octane for a few tanks to see if it impacts the misfire?

Basically, what I am thinking of here is the possibility that there is some carbon deposits in those cylinders that are causing pre-ignition.

I have used Arco and Circle K.

I also use Premium.

The thing is though, when I hooked up the scanner, 3 misfired a bit more than cylinder 6 at idle, but once I revved it up, they misfired nearly identical. Would carbon build up cause misfires at nearly identical rates at higher RPM's and highway speed?

Have you maybe tried running regular? I'm just tossing out some ideas on things that may impact the condition that are easily changed.

Oh yeah, I used regular at first, then when I did the tune up and I changed out the injectors, I switched to premium.

If I can get access to the bore scope and there is excessive carbon build up, how would I go about fixing that problem? I am open to any suggestions short of buying a new engine or tearing apart this one, though I don't think there are many options left with all that I have done.

If there is excessive carbon buildup, a few seafoam treatments may loosen it up and blow it out the tail pipe.

That simple? Gotta love seafoam. I personally have never used it, but have heard good things.

By a few treatments, what exactly do you mean? I wanna make sure I do it right if I do end up having to do that.

One might not clean it up properly if there is heavy buildup.

Okay, how long should I wait before I do another one? If it doesn't fix it, right then and there after I take it for a drive? Or should I wait like a day, or a week and drive it until then?

I would wait a day or so, but not too long. You should change the oil after you are finally done.
