I am not going to do this, but couldn't you switch out thermos every season?

You could, but it would be more trouble than it would be worth, IMO.

Just dont dip to the 160* thermostats. Those suckers say its a performance boost...but it just makes your engine run too cool, making it run rich to try and heat up...only good if youve got a tune
