Clutch pedal assembly

I have a 2000 blazer 5 speed. The plastic clutch pedal bushing broke. How do I get the brake/clutch pedal assembly out completely.

You shouldn't need to take the brake pedal out. The plastic pieces that hold the clutch pedal in are spring-loaded like a toilet paper holder. If you can push the ends in (or the end that isn't broken), it should drop right out.

an aside to that, Dorman, GM, and various other manufacturers make clutch pedal bushings.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but as far as I'm aware of, to completely remove the pedal assembly you have to remove the whole dash assembly. No, I'm not kidding. If someone knows a different way I'd like to know it myself. Now installing one is cake, but the removal, not so much.
