Code P0449 troubles 02 blazer 4dr 4wd
 

I ran the ODB system check and received the p0449 code. i have bench tested the vent solenoid located in the rear and when it's disconnected air moves through, when it's connected, it's closed. so i think that it's fine.

I checked the sensor connectors on the canister purge valve (near the throttle body) and it has power. i don't know what else to do to bench test the purge valve or if i need to replace it or the vapor canister.
