Codes on 2003 Blazer
 

Here are some codes that I have, just wondering how they would affect my everyday driving and the level of difficulty of fixing them.

P0442 EVAP leak detected
C0281 STOP LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT.
C0226 LF SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL MISSING
C0222 RF SPEED SENSOR " "
B2961 KEY IN IGNITION CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.

Again this is from my 2003 Blazer 4.3 4X4. price wise what am I looking at for the fixes? Thanks.

I just had the evap leak. It proved to be the gas cap. According to the service manual, that looks like a tough nut to crack if it's not the gas cap. Dont know about the others.

The evap code should not effect drivability.

Thanks. I read the codes, deleted them and I haven't had them come back. The B2961 which is the key in the ignition, must be from when they installed the remote starter, they must have had to disable it from the factory security system. I will trouble shoot the speed sensors more by trying to activate the ABS. More to follow.
