compression test results-over 200K

did a tune up on the '96 a week or two ago and did a compression check just to see how much it had, for a engine with over 200K wasnt too bad, 150 in all but #3 and that one was 140. (and thats the one with the steering shaft in the way so i may or may not have gotton a good "seal") what seems odd is that the other blazer i had with roughly the same amount of miles would run around 170/180 in compression, now granted, this isnt the original engine, what we put in the '96 after the bearings spun last year was another '96, but out of a manual trans S10 pickup. i wouldnt think there would be any differance in the way gm built a 4.3 between the S-truck and S-blazer platforms....but it does seem odd. what had everyone else noticed for compression test results? im kinda curious to know. this engine does run fine btw, doesnt seem to use oil, getting 15-17 mpg, havent had it on a long trip yet, have towed with it and it did better than the '97 did.
