Coolant capacity

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the coolant capacity for a 1996 bazer with a 4.3?

RE: Coolant capacity

Capacity should be roughly 11.7quarts. When refilling a flushed cooling system, first flush it with 3-4 gallons of distilled water, then drain as much as you can. Pour in 6 quarts (1.5 gallons) of coolant concentrate (i.e. not 50/50 mix), then top off with distilled water. If you have drained the overflow tank as well, take the remaining 1/2 gallon jug of coolant concentrate and fill it with distilled water. Shake the jug before filling up the overflow to the recommended level.

Hope this helps!

Thanks
That helps alot. How is the best way to get all the coolant out. I tied to take the lower rad hose of but I know there is more in the block/heater core. Does anyone know if there is a plug on the block that i could remove?
