Cracked Radiator
I've got a 2005 Chevy Blazer S10 SUV and I've noticed a bit of coolant leaking down from the front drivers side. I've traced the leak to a small crack down the top of the plastic housing of the radiator. It isn't along the seam of the housing so I can't see it expanding any further. My Blazer doesn't overheat and I haven't noticed a drop in coolant levels.
Usually after driven, there will be a small spot on the ground where the coolant has made its way down from the crack at the top due the pressure build up I assume. Any insight on fixing or completely replacing the rad? I've read other threads on this but everybody talks about getting X amount of miles then needing to refill the coolant or just overheating. I've been driving it like this for almost a month now and haven't noticed any drastic changes in temperature or coolant level. Don't want to spend money I don't need to, but I also don't want to build up more problems for the future. Any input would be great. Thanks.
