cranking good, no start
my problems first started when the truck (95 4.3) started hesitating. i replaced plugs, cap and rotor with quality ac delco parts. no change in performance. more recently it started bogging really badly i decided to change fuel filter for the hell of it. still no change. then about a week ago it would barley start and finally got around to testing fuel pressure it tested at 49psi so i went ahead and changed the pump. it ran better then two days later no start whatsoever. its in the impound right now cause it died somewhere super sketchy and they towed it. todays labor day so come tomorrow ill be troubleshooting. any help would be great. oh yeah its an ac delco pump and also after i changed the pump i would only get 60psi for a split second after i turned key to run. and dropped slowly, due to a leaking hose at fuel filter

So....is the leak fixed?
#3
not as of now
#4
If the leak got big enough it would be returning the oil that made the fuel to the ground from which it came instead of to the motor.
#5
dont wanna be rude or any thing but fix that leak then come back =)

well obviously thats what ill be starting with but it was fine for a long time, im assuming since i put the new filter in. so im just feeling like its not the main issue
#7
if the systems leaking its not getting the right psi to run the motor correctly

okay got my leak fixed, drove her around for about 10 minutes then died. i pounded on the pump with a hammer and didnt start. i realized i didnt hear the pump run. but to be sure i straped on my pressure tester and when i turned the key over pump ran and i got 60psi. then it started. weird, im stumped

did you try changing the relay for the pump ? there should be 3 relays take the one for the horn and put it on the pump
28 is the horn relay and 27 is the fuel pump relay
they should be located in the glove box there is a little plastic cover inside
