Dealer Installed VSL 4000 Alarm System FOB Programming

I have a Chevrolet dealer installed VSL 4000 alarm system on my 2000 Chevy Blazer, LS 4X4, 4D. I have one working fob and one that is not working. I tried the steps mentioned above and it did not activate the second fob. I had a dealer quote me $113 to program the second fob. I feel that is too steep for just pressing a few buttons. Any suggests?

Which steps did you try? I tried the key off/on thing with my 97 LS and it didn't work. I had to short pins 4 and 8 on the data port which cycled the locks. Then held the lock/unlock buttons for 15 seconds which cycled them again, confirming programming.

Not sure if it'll work on a 2000's factory alarm.
