Door Pins on Dash
On my '99 Blazer, I noticed the passenger side door pin on the dash was broken. So I called a buddy up and he got me one from the salvage yard. I popped the old one out but didnt see the pigtail on the backside of it.
No problem...or so I thought! I dropped the glovebox door to look for it & didnt see anything wires hanging around. I went over to my '01 S10 and dropped the glovebox door to trace where the wire goes. On the S10, the wires run from the Pin up to the glovebox light and bundle in with that set of wires. the two sets then run up a bit more near the passenger airbag into a bigger wiring bundle. I cannot see or feel where the 2 wires for my door pin are on the Blazer. I have no clue where else to look and dont feel comfortable tugging wires, nonetheless wires that are that close to the airbag. Help me find the wires :( -Zeke |

RE: Door Pins on Dash
I believe that in 2000, the door switches moved to the latches in the door itself. Depending on when your truck was manufactured in the '99 run, it could have this design.
I have included the wire loom diagram for your year for both the manual and automatic climate control models. If you do in fact have the wiring for the switch there, these should help.
