RE: Door Spring
Easy and door spring should NEVER be in the same sentance!!!
If you already have it out, now would be a good time to replace the door pins and bushings. Took me 1 minute to pull the spring, 20 minutes to get the pins/bushings replaced and then another 3 hours for my dad, brother, and me to get the damn spring back in.
Next time, I'll buy the proper tool for the job. Eastwood.com has the a Light Truck Door Hinge Spring Tool for $16.99 (CLICK HERE). That tool would have made it a TON easier to put the spring back in.

RE: Door Spring
Cool thanks.
I'll have to see if I can find that tool around my area.
The pins were changed a couple of months back. Don't know why the spring fell out.

RE: Door Spring
Springs in general and easy are not allowed in the same sentence. I had to help my uncle put a new one in a dishwasher door once. Whew. I learned some new words that day.
