Door uneven
My driver side door on my 96 Jimmy 4 door is completely out of whack. Instead of drooping though, it is higher in the back. It is enough that it will leak in a heavy rain, and there is alot of wind noise. Try as I might, I can find no evidence of an accident. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks for any help.

Seems like a bushing problem or door pin. The Blazer doors where made way to heavy in the factory, so the bushing and pins take a beating. Though in your case it's the opposite, the door is higher rather than lower so I could be wrong. Def seems like something's bent though.

Bushing and pins are easy enough to replace believe it or not. I purchase the tool on ebay for 5 bucks. Bought the pin from auto zone for what 2 bucks. The ONLY problem I had was securing the door. For to replace one pin you must remove both pins. I found a stud in my garage ceiling put a hook in it, tested it then, lower the window, put a cloth around the top of the door (Rubbing) put a rope around the hook and the window door and drew it tight. Then put the spring compressor in to compress the spring (Needed a hammer to help it in) remove the lock washer from the pin and bushing had to knock it out (easy). Then install the bushing and pin and lock washer. Took me all of a 1/2 hour to fix. Door works perfect, now the other door is starting..Such is life...

A second pair of hands always helps. I did it myself with a 4x4 block of wood under the door, and the 3 ton jack under the wood. Worked good!
