A crank but no start is either:

No fuel
No spark
No air

Fuel: As stated you perform the fuel pressure tests in the sticky

Spark: You verify 1" of strong blue spark at the plugs. If not then you works backwards towards the engine computer and the related sensors to determine why no spark

Air: Usually restrictions but electrical wont cause that except possibly the AIC, if this truck has one. Probably not the issue here.

Spark is the easiest and cheapest to verify followed by fuel pressure.

It doesn't crank now. After I had taken it to AutoZone and had them charge it, it would crank but not start.Shortly after that is when the battery was drained. In less than an hour it wouldn't even crank but the interior lights would still come on.

And no, the Nissan owner just bought it and got it home. Has not touched it yet and doesn't plan on doing so anytime soon.

There is spark, the fuel comes out when pressing on Schrader vavle ( I believe that's what it's called) and air I have no clue as I said I am very ignorant with vehicles. I'm learning though!

@OP: What's Your dash voltage reading?

With all my heart I'd like to help You, but I am afraid it can't be done briefly. "There is spark" or "The fuel comes out" doesn't mean much and may lead us into a wrong direction.
There should be a 1" spark at the spark plug tester.
The fuel should have reach the nominal pressure and maintain it for 10 minutes.

Thank you all for your help. When I can find someone here locally that can help me, I will refer them to this thread as they should be more knowledgeable than I am

Do not worry about air at this point. You can test spark with a $10 spark tester from Amazon or even get a decent result with a screwdriver. You can test fuel pressure with a $25 tester from amazon. You will also need a garden variety dc voltmeter which many already have. When your ready to test properly get back to us and we can walk through the process.

I am beginning to wonder if there was a big old sub woofer installed and the fuse went on it or a multi piece battery cable and one of them isn't hooked up. The description is a bit odd and seems incomplete.

Follow what George is asking for and you'll get to the answer.

Since it will run on starting fluid, I think we can safely assume it's a fuel problem. Like others said, check the fuel pressure with a gauge. If I had to guess, though, I'd say you damaged your PCM and it's not firing the injectors. That's just a guess, though. Don't run out and buy one without testing everything else.
