electrical problems after stereo install

Question electrical problems after stereo install

Ok I installed a jvc CD/mp3 player in my ZR2 and now if I have it up loud the fashion lights flicker and if I turn the Dimmer up to high my speakers cut out..the ground is good and there's no short anywhere ..please help me

What wiring harness are you using and have you tried putting the factory radio back in to see if it still does it? It could possibly be something bad in the JVC but I would go over all the wiring first.

Here's a 99 schem, F1 through F5, E6, E16 are same for both std and prem heads

Your just full of links n info ain't ya petty..the radio worked fine in my old truck but its possible..I'm gonna double check everything and try another radio but if that don't work ill prolly hard wire it all..new constant /switch /ground..I just don't understand ...I have installed atleast 100 stereos n never had an issue ..and I'd appreciate it if you Popped in on every thread I start..you have helped me quite a bit already..thank you

you dont need to hook up the illumination wire, i also have a 05 2dr blazer with a jvc deck and i didnt hookup that wire, i got the wiring harness adapter and it works like butter, maybe try disconecting the illumination wire and get one of those wiring harness adapters, it makes the install alot neater and if you go to sell the car later in the future you can jus pop the factory radio back in

Its a 98 Chevy Blazer ZR2..I don't have the wire hooked up either..
