Default engine running lean bank 1 and bank 2

Well here's whats going on, i just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump since my engine was misfiring got that all solved. Now my service engine light turns on every now and again for a couple hours or a day, the codes that were read were Engine running to lean bank 1 and engine running to lean bank 2. When i go from a dead stop every now and again it will slowly accelerate and wont build up RPM's easily but when it does it runs fine. its not running rough at all. i took starting fluid and sprayed it around the intake to see if it were a leak somewhere up there but everything seems to be fine up there. what could this be?! please help asap this is my daily driver!

well, running lean could be a vacuum leak. Or air getting in the intake anywhere behind the mass air flow (check the plenum). If the regulator was only replaced and not the injectors as well that might be why. The injectors may not be up to par.
