fuel dilivery issues

01 chevy blazer 4.3LS 2 door
last week my friend and i replaced my fuel pump because the original crapped out on me. after replacing it the fuel pump worked excellent. after having to replace the battery cause it died on me, the blazer started up and drove fine a few different times....drove it about 80 miles back home. went in, went to sleep then in the morning i hoped in the ride to go to the store....IT WOULDNT START. no prime, relay fuse is good, all fuses inspected and good. i removed the fuel line from the filter, pump side, and turned the key....no gas coming from the line. any ideas on what the prob could be? i think i may have an idea but dont want to admit to it lol.

first question, did you use an OEM pump? (delphi or ac delco)...check your electrical connections at the fuel pump. if you didnt wire it well enough, chances are you hit a bump and loosened wires. you can check voltage at the connector you shouldve had to splice in. there is threads on how to check everything electrical. also whens the last time your fuel filter was replaced?
