Fuel Pump ??

New here,
Our 2000 2dr, 4x4 Blazer, 115,000, has been running fine. Last night rpm's jumped up and engine died, refused to start. Towed home. today still not starting, cranks well. Dist rotor turns , so not timing chain, Checked spark at plug, ok.
Tried some starting fluid started and ran, then quit. Tried starting again, ran, shut off started 3-4 more times each time started and ran no problems.
Anyone have any ideas?

It sure sounds like you are not getting proper fuel supply to the engine, but run the 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis to be sure.
