Fuel Pump Relay
 

Tryin to find out why my 1996 Chevy Blazer will not start. Had trouble cold starting for about 2 weeks. Then one day it will not start at all. Checked for spark, getting spark. Doesnt appear that fuel pump is turning on. Found 3 relays behind glove box, wondering which one was the fuel pump relay. Please help with any additional info.

SORRY MY BAD, HAD FRIEND HELP, FUEL PUMP IS TURNING ON, CAN ALSO HEAR FUEL PUMP RELAY CHANGE STATES. ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS

Where can i locate the fuel pump realy in my blazer?

i checked in the glove box (not there)

the relay on my blazer is under the hood...on the firewal... directly in front of the driver.... there are 2 litlte black boxes.... with a wire plug into each one... one clicks...the other doesnt

I had a similar problem with my 96 blazer. 1st thing wrong was the fuel pump so I replaced it. The truck would still not start sometimes and if the dash lights ( i.e. airbag, oil, all gages ) does not come on it would start. If I turned the key to the one postion and waited a few seconds the dashboard would light up and then the truck would start. I took it to the dealer and they found codes for ignition faults and it finally was the ignition module and wiring harness. This is a known problem with 1997 blazers but they have seen it on later 1996 (as mine was built near the end of the 1996 run before the 1997's was started ). Hope this helps

Relays could also be located ont eh drivers side inner fender.

Ignition control module or ignition switch? Dash lights not coming on would be a function of the ignition switch, not the ignition control module. My '00 wouldn't start, security system was killing power to my fuel pump. Fualty ignition switch fixed my problem.
