Fuel pump replacement
I have never removed a gas tank before. Is there any tricks to disconnecting the fuel lines at the tank ? I can't see any room to get a wrench on the fuel lines. All help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am assuming it is a 4 door so you wanna drop it down a litle bit. There will be 2 vents on top of the tank 1 on each end. Disconnect the small lines off that first. Then drop tank down more with a jack and a piece of wood between the tank and jack. You will have plenty of room to disconnect every thing. Also I find it easier to disconnect the fill lines from the tank and not the truck.

I think its easier to take em off the truck side. Truck side is metal pipe...tank side is plastic. Plastic breaks [X(]

Ooo metal tanks would be nice. I was so nervous I was going to break the tank and double my repair cost
And 2-doors are fun...everything on em is...hahh..

Mine is a 4 door so I don't know that I could be of any real help here. Try supporting the rear of the blazer with jackstands and pulling the drivers side rear tire and looking in from the wheelwell area. You may be able to see more that way. being mine was a 4dr I dropped the spare out from underneath and climbed worked on it from under that area. I still broke off one of the vent valves while dropping the tank.
Cost me an extra $40 to replace that.
