Going to be installing my body lift tommorow in my 2000 jimmy. any hints/suggestions?
So got my PA 2" body lift today, going to put it in tommorow. just wondering if anyone had any helpful tips/suggestions the instructions might have left out?

Yea b/c I'm gonna be putting one on mine and wanna see where all the bolts are and how the bumpers look after it

you can download a pdf of the instructions...they are alright.
pb blaster those body bolts ahead of time...and on a four door there are 12 bolts...two above rear axle are a pain. before and after pics!! :D |
Got er done in about 8 hours. had to trim alot out of the bottom of the rear bumper to get it to sit properly. other than that it went pretty smooth . One good tip i would share is make sure you have a good set of 1/2 drive metric sockets , and breaker bar. everything was so tight that a cheater bar had to be used to remove most of the body mount bolts. I also found the instructions that came in the box, the picture showing bolts, and locations and such was so pixilated, it looked like it was printed on a dot matrix printer. if i had to do it all over again, i would have printed out a high quality version of the instructions just so i had a few good pictures to go off of. I will post some pictures up tommorow when its not so dark out to show my bumpers and how they sit.
