Gotta question (go figure)

Ok, so everytime I turn my turn signals on, my volt gauge moves with the turn signal. And everytime I put it in drive or reverse or park, my volt gauge moves with it also.... Could this have anything to do with my alternater? Battery? Lack of sex? haha someone help if you can!! Thanks

Lack of sex? In that case the guage would stand proudly straight up. Mine moves with directionals when the fan is on high and I'm stepping on the brakes waiting for a light. A little variation is normal. During gear shifts though... nope, never saw mine do it. What's the volt meter show when you're just driving along? Around 14V? Do you have any aftermarket equipment on it like a stereo? Get the battery checked, might be it's getting tired and drawing more than it used to to maintain a charge. Could be one of the wires feeding the underhood box got hot and doesn't conduct current like it used to or a loose connection. In older GM alternators I've seen one diode in the triad go bad but that's in the really unusual category. (It would show as a dim alternator light but these won't do that)

Damn. I am gonna try and get laid tonight. Ill see if that fixes the problem, if not.... My yellow top is almost 5 years old, maybe its about time for it to die. And I think the alternator is original. So.... Ill start with the alternator, then a new optima... we shall see.
