Default gurgling sound and engine starving in park and sputters while driving

I have a 97 Jimmy with the 4.3 I'm seeking some assistance. the truck is running great I have done a few things like full tune up plugs wires fuel filter no PCV valve also fresh oil change replaced belt assembly and fixed small vacuum leakcoming from the vacuum reservoir under the hood. it seems when my car is started and in park the engine will sputter bit as well as during driving. the idle sits at 600 rpm and while driving it will be a little over 2000. also a small gurgling sound under the dash during takeoff. should I be concerned please help thank you

Could you explain the idle is a bit more; confused....it is 600 when?...with the trans in neutral or in Drive with foot on the brake? When is the idle at 2000?

The gurgling sound is probably the heater core; there is either air in the system or is it partially plugged or there is a small leak. Any coolant smell or wet passenger floormat?

High idle is usually caused by a vacuum leak...are you sure you got all the hoses back in the correct location?

600 @ while in park and with foot on brake. Seems normal butt he sputtering under the floor feels like its coming from engine. I dint kniw of any other vaccuum leaks. Hiw do u burp the system? Undo cap and run the engine? The 2000 is while driving also seems normal but the engine sputtrs at 65mph

These trucks are designed to idle at 650. I'd say 600 is not really a problem. The best way I know of to burp the system is to raise the from passengers side so the radiator cap is higher than any other component carrying water (best you can). Take the cap off, start the truck and stand at the ready with your 50/50 mix of coolant. Probably take about 15 minutes or so for the thermostat to ope an a couple times. Fill with coolant as you can.

No matter who did your new plug wires, I suggest re-seating them all at both ends 'till you hear them click, to eliminate that area of concern.

if I have eliminated the area of concern from plugs and wires what do you guys see as the next steps could this be a timing issue? When I am driving 65 miles per hour it almost feels like its stalling here and there but no change in rpm or drop just that stutter feel

The gurgling from my experience would be low coolant levels or air pockets in the cooling system, the sound is from the heater core under the dash when air passes through.

You need to do a fuel leakdown test. Hook up fuel pressure test gauge (can get get a loaner from the auto parts stores), hook up to service port on fuel line next to the plenum. Key on, engine off...in the first ~2 seconds when you hear the fuel pump run your pressure must be between 60-66 psi. After 10 minutes the gauge needs to read no lower than 55 psi. Post your results.
