Hard Start After Engine is warm
I've checked some other threads and while similar, most are for a different year. So maybe your guys can point me in the right direction.
Main Problem - 2001 Chevy Blazer 4DR - 4WD - Blazer starts perfectly after sitting over night or after an 8 hour or more period. Very hard start when engine is warm, usually will take 3 to 4 tries before finally turning over.
Yesterday I had an issue where the engine would not even crank, and I could here the thud of the starter solenoid, eventually after several attempts I got it started again. So I thought starter is going, so I replaced it, but engine still takes 3 to 4 tries to start when warm.
Things done within the last year:
1. Replaced Starter
2. Replaced Fuel Pump
3. Replaced Fuel Filter
4. Replaced Fuel Relay
5. Replaced Spark Plugs
6. Replaced Cap, Rotor and Wires
Where else should I look?
Thanks is advance
Peter

What brand did you use for the tune up and fuel pump? On those items its very important to use delco or delphi. I would start with a fuel pressure and leakdown test to determine if the problem is in the fuel system.

Thanks Gents.
The fuel pump was replaced by a shop, so I'm not entirely sure what brand.
I have a fuel pressure gauge, so I'll give that a go.
Other then the Fuel Pump, Filter or relay, what else fuel related could cause this?
Thanks

It could be a leaking fuel injector or pressure regulator. Was it doing this before the pump was replaced? You can also look down the throttle body with a flashlight and a dental mirror if you have one. If you see gold spots or it looks really clean, you know you have a leak in the plenum (either the injectors or fuel pressure regulator). Hopefully the shop didn't put an airtex pump in, they are junk and fail way too often.
