Haveing weird start ups and looking for help
I had a 1999 Blazer and now a 2000 Blazer and they both did the same thing. From a cold start the truck will crank a few times and then attempt to start and then catch itself and actually start. Best way to describe it is the way a lawn mover tries to start. I did a full tune up on the truck maybe 1000 miles ago and just 4 days ago did a fuel filter change and am running lucas fuel injector cleaner and the truck runs better as the filter was clogged. The truck still starts as described from a cold start and starts up great after its been driven and not sitting too long. Its been seeming to get slightly worse and looking for help.
You may want to consider a professional fuel system cleaning. If that makes an impact on how it runs even if its for a short period of time, you know that the injectors (well actually, the poppet nozzles) are dirty and affecting cold running efficiency.
Yeah i understand. Now one more question, You mean professional cleaning system like? Seafoam?
No. By professional cleaning system, I mean a system that is connected to your intake and the engine runs off of this system, not off of the fuel in your tank. This is a much more aggressive cleaner than the over the counter stuff. Most shops and/or drive thru oil change places should have the necessary equipment. It isn't a DIY type of thing unless you want to buy all of the stuff to make it happen...
