Default having problems charging AC 1998 blazer

I have a 1998 Blazer 4 door 2 wheel drive.
The air does not blow cold, so I tried charging with a can of 134A through a little service port (plastic line) and I jumped the pressure switch to make the compressor run but the gas would not leave the can into the AC system. And the gauge on the applicator was well into the red zone indicating too much pressure. Am I putting the gas in the right inlet by using the service port or is there somewhere else to connect my 134A applicator into?

Thank you for any help you may have on this issue.

You should be connecting to the low pressure service port located on the accumulator/receiver (The Silver can near the firewall).

Your best be would be to start a new topic but, if you get ACDelco they should come already gaped.
