Hazard light switch.

Sooo, I keep finding little things, here and there, that are needing to be fixed on my Baby. Nothing surprising, the last owner completely ran this vehicle into the ground. Now it's the hazard switch. When I first got it, I was sitting in it trying to figure out how to put the hazards on. I couldn't figure it out at all! Yesterday, I was sitting in it, still trying to figure it out, when I noticed a hole in the top of the steering column. Looked down said hole, and noticed, lo and behold, there was the bottom of the switch. So the top part has broken off completely, and the only piece of the switch left is about half an inch deep in the hole. Now, I still needed to see if I could get it to work, because I can't get it inspected without working hazards. So I stuck the key down there to depress the switch. Hallelujah, the hazards come on, and work just fine. Now, how to turn them off? I tried doing the same thing, pushing the switch again, and it won't turn off. If I push the switch all the way down and hold it there, they turn off, but the moment I let it back up, they turn on again. So, can this switch be replaced, how difficult is it, and is there anything else I can try to get the switch operable for now? I ended up pulling the fuze for the hazard lamps so I wouldnt drain the battery and I could drive the blazer to my apartment, but I have no turn signals without the fuse in place.

I have the similar problem ( switch / button busted off) but mine are semi-permanently on "OFF".

Anyone who can explain how to switch out the switch, is welcome to chime right on in!
