somebody please help me! my 96 4.3l blazer likes to drive its self every now and then. without touching the gas pedal it will do about 55mph! and wont idol when in gear. however neutral and park it will idol. also there is constantly heat blowing on my feet. need help! thank you..

So... sitting in park it will idle just fine? When in gear, how high does the tach go? Does it just keep running faster and faster? What happens when you hold the brake and put it in drive? Specifically... where do the rpm's stay when stopped in gear?

it doest have a tach. it stays at a steady speed when im stoped. thanks!
also i forgot to mention that it does not do it all the time. some days it runs great and other days it does its own thing. it does have a new tps and iac.

by iac do you mean idle air motor?
if this is the case, when i first installed my new ide motor the car would accelerate up to about 50km itself, i floored it once and i guess it calibrated itself because it never happened since.

yes thats what i meant. i will have to try that. its not doing it as often anymore but still does it every now and then, and occasionally when i start it it will rev up really high and slowly go down to idle. thanks for the help i will give it a try
