Default help!

97' blazer. shaking bad at idle. temp normal. oil good. no abnormal smoke. will do 65 mph. parts house did a scan and it could be egr, cam sensor, or oxy sensor. according to them probably only one is bad and setting off the others. on my mothers 93' i had simular troubles cleaned the egr and she was a go. the vehicle belongs to son in law and they dont have alot of cash so i dont just want to throw parts at it. cleaned the egr with brake fluid and no go. your thoughts? thx in advance!

what a first post huh?

Did they tell you what the codes were? As in a P0101 etc. That would help in figuring it out. In the meantime I'd look for vacuum leaks.

Just not the manifold, the lines to & from & you have lines possibly in the fenderwell or the ball under the hood & inside the cab.

Possibly & I've heard a new one isn't much money, but I'd check the free things like vacuum lines 1st.
