help needed from more experienced owners please

I have been having a problem with a misfire which i have been advised was caused by the fuel spider. Just to try I put a good fuel system cleaner through the car today and ran it for 2 hours until it ran smoothly and was good. BUT once i finally had it running how it should i turned it off and restarted a few times to check and it was great, so i left the car to cool down and went back to it after a few hours turned the key and nothing the lights on the dash come on but no response to trying to start not even a click which would have pointed me at a stuck starter, I don't think it has anything to do with the fuel cleaner as i don't see how it can but does anyone know different or point me in the right direction please this car is driving me nuts. thank you in advance ian

Sounds silly but during the winter, once a battery gets cold, its output can be severely limited. Always worth checking the easy stuff!
