Help PleaSE????
 

HELLO,
i am in need of some help. i have a 1997 chevy blazer. about a month ago the motor thew a rod. ever since it hant been the same. we had a nother motor (with 90,000 miles on it) put in it has a 90 day warrenty, well a week or two after i got it back it started jummping and jerking a little apon hard exeleraton, and cruzing speed. then one time it just wouldnt start. so i was told it was the fuel pump. shelled out $300.00 for a new one and put it in yesterday. well today it started doing that again and it wont startg. well this time it has fuel preser is at about 63 (i was told it needs to have atleast 60) and it still wont start.

the only thing i did differnt was disconect the battery, so i just went and disconnected the battery and in about a half hr. i am going to go and hook it back up.


so any idea's?

also the truck is a 97 blazer LS 4X4 4.3 ltr V6

well today i replaced the fuel filter, but still no start. i had presure when i took the fuel filter off. so im not sure right now. what it is, any ideas would be helpfull. i have looked around but really didnt help much

UPDATE=

i just went out and put some starting fluid in the truck today, and it started, which tells me its getting air and spark, not fuel, so i will be takeing the fuel pump out of the truck and takeing it back.
