Horn help needed
My 98's horn has not worked since I bought this truck so I decided to fix it. I cannot locate the horns on the truck at all. I replaced the engine when I bought this thing and I didn't see them in passing during that either. Where are they supposed to be? When I hit the horn on the wheel I can hear a click from the outside fuch block so it sounds as if the wheel is working. No horn is becoming frustrating

They're both inside the fender wells. One's next to the battery, and easy to get to. The other one's beside the windshield washer fluid tank. You have to remove the air filter box, and the washer fluid tank, to get to it. It's easy, though.

I cant recall if pressing one button does one note or if it does both, but you will definitly want to check the power at the horn probably the one on the driver side since it is easier to access. It seems rather unlikely that both horns would go bad unless the previous owner only used the horns instead of blinkers.

it is comon for horns to go bad if they are never used. If they are never used all the internals rust together. If they're used frequently it keeps everything moving.

Wow I just learned something new. I had no idea Blazers have 2 horns. I'm guessing my Blazer was missing both because you could only hear a clicking sound @ the steering wheel. I replacedthe passenger side hornwith oneI found at the junkyard and it works great. I will have to check for the second one.
